I'm writing to you as one of your constituents to ask you to oppose the Establishment of the White House Faith Office. Constitutional Amendment 1--the thing the Founding Fathers found *most* important to protect--is the freedom of the press, speech, and religion. The establishment of this office would be a blow to every practicing religious person in the nation, no matter how noble the intent behind the EO. Something Anti-Catholic could very well be something Pro-Wiccan, Pro-Evangelical, or Pro-Jewish, and by rule of Amendment 1, none of these religions are more valid than others in the eyes of the law. Which is the thing you swore to uphold when you took office. So for the sake of the future of this country, do the right thing. Oppose this very clearly unconstitutional office. And while you're at it, oppose Elon Musk and DOGE too. Kabosu deserves better than to be the face of a coup, the hardworking people of the US deserve better than extralegal injustice at the hands of an unelected despot. Our eyes are on you. I hope you feel the weight of every soul you've let down by remaining complicit.
