Quiet Piggy Silence

To: Sen. Lankford, Sen. Mullin, Rep. Hern

From: A verified voter in Tulsa, OK

November 20

The other morning, I woke up to a video of the United States President telling a female credentialed member of the media to “quiet piggy.” I am wondering as your constituent if you’d be willing to openly rebuke this type of behavior. I have not heard you condemn this behavior and it is a betrayal of the Oklahoma Standard to remain silent when the President of the USA does this to hard working Americans just performing their job. These folks are good Americans, with just as much a right to common decency as you and I. It completely violates the Oklahoma Standard to tell any women, let alone one who is working hard, and on the job trying to engage and earn the American Dream for herself “quiet piggy.” It’s disgusting. Remaining silent on these sorts of disgusting treatments of our fellow citizens is immoral. I ask that you do the right thing and ask the President to apologize and uphold the Oklahoma Standard.
