House Republicans are trying to insert multiple articles of anti-trans legislation, including a full transgender healthcare ban into the 2026 budget. I'm writing to tell you to stand up for trans Americans and vote No on any bill with anti-trans language. This IS worth forcing a shutdown. This care funding ban follows the map the GOP charted to attack abortion rights. Democrats lost that fight. You still have the opportunity to win this one. Standing with trans people is the right thing to do and it's politically viable. Voters and donors will show up for Democrats who fight for trans rights.
