Please do not agree to getting rid of advice and consent or recess appointments. It is obvious that trump is trying to push through people who might not make it through confirmation hearings. And he’s skipping background checks. Is that even legal? Some of his appointments are laughable. Please use backbone and do the right thing. In addition, you and other Republicans need to require that the Senate see the investigation of Matt Gaetz. This is a scheme by trump and Mike Johnson to limit the information that you have of Gaetz. Gaetz dropping out of Congress right before the report was to be released was such an obvious move to try and keep the report from being revealed. One thing you need to consider is this. If he were not trump, someone who could possibly hurt you later through his hateful revenge, would you let the person get away with these changes? What if Biden had demanded these things (of course, he wouldn’t)? If Biden had, though, you would immediately have said no. Please pretend like it’s not the all powerful trump and do the right thing. Please.
