Todd Blanche's nomination for AG is an obvious conflict of interest! Todd Blanche has betrayed this oath time and time again. As Deputy and now Acting Attorney General, he has repeatedly placed the President’s personal and political interests ahead of the interests of the United States and its citizens. The primary objectives of Trump’s presidency are revenge and profiteering—neither of which serves the American people. Yet Blanche has proven a reliable enabler of both. He has shown that his loyalty is not to his Constitution or country, but to his once and forever client, Donald Trump. The professed values of the Department of Justice are independence and impartiality, honesty and integrity, respect, and excellence. Blanche has none of those qualities. He is in no way, shape, or form qualified to serve as our next Attorney General. I can not comprehend or understand how one party can comply and uphold the excessive amount of blatant corruption around the Trump Administration. In compliance, the party is just as corrupt for not stopping it or attempting to stop it! We must have an Attorney General who swears allegiance to the Constitution, not to any politician. Todd Blanche is not that man. His record is damning—he has shown, over and over, that he will twist the law to shield the powerful rather than defend justice. Over the past year-long tenure as Deputy Attorney General, he has carried out many of the Trump Administration’s priorities, including the installation of loyalist U.S. attorneys in districts around the country, purging career staff, getting Pryor cases dropped for friends of the president, and trying to pursue criminal charges against the president’s perceived foes. You will either stand for fair & balanced rule of law by helping to appoint a more qualified AG, or you will help corrupt the U.S. rule of law at the highest level by voting for Todd Blanche. This is not a political question. It is a moral one. When the time comes to vote, you will either stand for the rule of law or you will help tear it down. There is no middle ground. For the future of this republic, you must vote against Todd Blanche.
