Please pass AB 1267. Close all loopholes for child marriage in California. Not everyone’s parents are safe people, not every judge is going to make the right decision. NO CHILD should get married ever. We know the majority of children marriage involves one adult. And that adult, their abuser, becomes their legal guardian and they have no way out. Children who get married often don’t finish school and have worse economic outcomes. Protect Californian children and end all child marriage, no exceptions!
