I urge you to support the VISIBLE Act (SB 316 / HB 419). Floridians believe in law and order, and that requires accountability and clear authority. Masked, unidentified agents operating in public spaces erode public trust, create confusion, and invite criminal impersonation — all of which make communities less safe. The VISIBLE Act does not weaken enforcement. It strengthens it by ensuring that only legitimate officers exercise government power and that bad actors cannot hide behind anonymity. Requiring visible identification is a commonsense safeguard that protects citizens, protects officers, and upholds constitutional principles of limited government and transparency. Please support this bill and stand for public safety, and the rule of law.
