I am a constituent with a disability who has worked very hard to build a freelance business to support myself. The ACA has been a vital support for me in this process. This year, using my subsidy, I pay $438 for myhealth insurance with a $7500 out of pocket maximum. Next year, with no subsidy available, the same policy will be $1270. It will be more than my mortgage payment. This will break me. And I am not alone in this. Please continue to fight for the subsidies and keep the government closed as long as necessary to ensure the ACA subsidies remain intact. Thank you for all you do for your constituents.
