Deploy state law enforcement to protect voters at every polling place on November 3. The Trump DOJ is sending 1,000 monitors to all 50 states, refusing to disclose locations until Election Day itself. That secrecy is not transparency. It is a pressure campaign.
The DOJ has already sued 27 states to seize sensitive voter data including Social Security numbers, and lost every single case. It sued California to strip 20,000 voters from the rolls. It sued Alaska to preemptively block certification of a Senate race. This is a pattern of federal interference in state-run elections, and it is happening now, days before voters go to the polls. Wyoming's Republican governor called DOJ monitor behavior "very odd" after watching it firsthand in his state's primary. The NAACP has sued the DOJ over this program. The concern is not partisan. It is constitutional.
State authority over elections is not a courtesy. It is the law. Voters have the right to cast a ballot free from intimidation, and that right needs active protection. Mobilize state resources, coordinate with local election officials, and make clear that no federal presence will interfere with a single voter. You took an oath to uphold the Constitution. Honor it.
