Vote YES on Booker Farm Bill Amendments. As the Senate considers the 2026 Farm Bill, I urge you to pass Booker Amendments 1, 2, 3 and 4, resolving many of the issues I am concerned about. Amendment #1 would reverse the June Supreme Court ruling granting Bayer-Monsanto and the pesticide industry immunity from state tort failure-to-warn lawsuits when their pesticides cause harm and restore my constitutional right to hold these chemical companies accountable. Amendment #2 would remove provisions exempting many toxic chemical pesticides and genetically engineered pesticides and organisms from human and environmental safety reviews. Amendment #3 would strike the provision that blocks whole farm planning and soil testing for RFK’s regenerative agriculture pilot projects. Whole farm planning and soil testing are critical to assuring that projects are truly pursuing regenerative practices. Creating loopholes to allow farms to cheat is not acceptable. Amendment #4 would narrow the Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGAs) prohibition to be: "food and agricultural production practices unless those practices impact nutrition or food safety." This would allow the DGAs to comment on ultra-processed foods and farming practices that enhance the nutrient density of foods. The Farm Bill should benefit all farmers, not be used to further the interests of harmful industrial agriculture and multi-national pesticide corporations. America deserves a Farm Bill that helps small family farmers and invests in a food and agriculture system that produces safe, healthy, nutritious food, not creating loopholes for the benefit of industrial producers and the chemical and junk food industries. These issues are very important to me. You must pass Booker Amendments 1, 2, 3 and 4 today.
