On March 9, New Mexico became the first state to criminalize Federal troops at the polls. When will you do the same? Senate Bill 264, the Election Rights and Troops at Elections Act, has guaranteed electoral safety to New Mexicans. All 50 states, and the territories, must follow this lead. It’s abundantly clear that Trump is trying to stage a coup that will deny us our franchise and keep him in office, contrary to all laws. Please, legislate our safety NOW. We’ve gotten all the hints we need. Time to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution.
