Support the Subpoena of Attorney General Bondi on Epstein Files

March 18

I support Chairman Comer's subpoena requiring Attorney General Pam Bondi to testify under oath on April 14 about the Justice Department's handling of the Epstein files. This bipartisan action is necessary and overdue. Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act to ensure full disclosure of the federal government's investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Instead, the DOJ released heavily redacted files that have drawn bipartisan criticism from lawmakers. Bondi is directly responsible for overseeing the collection, review, and release of these files, yet the Department has stonewalled transparency at every turn. The DOJ's claim that this subpoena is "completely unnecessary" is insulting. Offering to let lawmakers view unredacted files at DOJ headquarters or hold private briefings is not the same as public accountability under oath. The survivors of Epstein's crimes deserve the truth, and the American people deserve to know whether the Justice Department mismanaged this investigation. Hold Bondi accountable. Ensure she complies with the subpoena and testifies publicly about why these files remain hidden.
