I’m writing to voice my serious concerns with Trump’s cryptocurrency company, from which he’s already profited nearly $800 million since he returned to the White House, and also has received the green light to become a bank and potentially enrich himself even further. Congress needs to take action to rein in Trump’s corrupt self-dealing, and I implore you to VOTE NO on the Clarity Act! Trump is selling the US presidency for billions from crypto, and a vote for the Clarity Act would legitimize that. People know the danger of crypto now, and we will not be fooled by window dressing amendments that do nothing. Furthermore, any Democratic support for the Clarity Act has potential to depress turnout in the midterms by making left-leaning voters feel like Democrats aren’t listening. Please vote no to block the Clarity Act, and ask your colleagues to vote no, too. Thank you.
