Restore the Public Library Fund with NO censorship conditions

To: Gov. DeWine, Sen. Romanchuk, Rep. Miller

From: A verified voter in Brunswick, OH

April 9

I see that you’ve amended the substitute budget to increase the library funding. While a cute gesture, this does not restore the public library funding as requested. An increase in unstable funds is NOT an acceptable substitute for the public library fund. Restore the Public Library Fund and protect our access to ALL information. I do not appreciate the clause about sequestering adult materials or any materials. I do not trust the government or any other organization to determine what material is or is not suitable for public consumption. This is an attack on free speech and our constitutional rights. I will remember who protected our freedom and our library system when voting, and I will do everything in my power to campaign against the reelection of those tried to take them from us.
