I understand that the Senate will be taking up DHS funding, including more funding for ICE in the coming weeks. I also understand that certain Senate Democrats are not interesting in having a fight over the continued funding of an organization that is terrorizing American citizens and committing actual murder. I don't care if the government shuts down because you refuse to fund thugs. I do care that Senate Democrats appear to be invertebrates at the most inopportune times.
