Oppose H.R. 7757, the KIDS Act

To: Sen. Bennet, Sen. Hickenlooper

From: A verified voter in Loveland, CO

July 8

I'm writing as a constituent from Loveland, Colorado to urge you to oppose H.R. 7757, the KIDS Act, which the House passed on June 29 and which folds in the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) While the bill is framed as protecting children online, I am concerned that its vague content standards could be used to police lawful speech, its new age verification requirements raise serious privacy risks for all users, and its preemption language would block states from enforcing their own, more targeted protections I ask that you oppose this bill in its current form and push for narrower, privacy-protective alternatives instead. Thank you for your time and attention to this issue
