Congratulations on your win. I'm a Colorado voter, and this week's vote was a mandate for change. I urge you to oppose Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries for leadership. I'm a lifelong Democrat. I've felt misled and betrayed by always conveniently being one vote short of passing important legislation. We're not blind. We see the manipulation of the system that keeps Republican policies in place. We don't want Republican lite. We want true change. The party is strongest when it stands on its ideals, not when it caves. If Democrats waste this chance on watered down laws people never feel in their lives, we won't get another one. What I'm asking of you: • Transparency. Support open & recorded leadership votes. Tell Coloradans who you voted and why. • No AIPAC money. I don't want a leader who takes AIPAC or AIPAC-affiliated PAC funding. I want leaders loyal to the US. • Fighters. Back leaders who will drive a progressive agenda. Leaders I'd like you to consider: House: Melanie Stansbury, Ro Khanna, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Jamie Raskin Senate: Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren Electing one of these leaders sends a message and shows that we are willing to fight for change. You were elected to fight for us. Colorado voters will be watching.
