Please co-sponsor and champion Sen. Markey's bill to expand the Supreme Court to 13 justices. The current 6-3 supermajority was built on two stolen seats — one blocked by Senate Republicans in 2016 and another rushed through days before the 2020 election — and the American people deserve a court that reflects legitimate democratic process. Sen. Markey is right that this can be done by statute, no constitutional amendment required. A 7-to-6 majority would restore balance to an institution that has been weaponized for partisan ends. House Minority Leader Jeffries has said everything is on the table, and it should be. This is the moment to act — not study, not deliberate, act.
