I am writing to urge you to take action on H.R. 2550, the Protect America’s Workforce Act. This legislation is critically important to federal employees and to the future of collective bargaining rights in the federal workforce. H.R. 2550 has already passed the House with bipartisan support. It is now time for the Senate to bring this legislation to the floor and give senators the opportunity to vote on it. I am asking you to support bringing H.R. 2550 to the Senate floor and, when it comes up for a vote, to vote YES. You have shown throughout the past two years that your priorities have often been more closely aligned with the Trump administration than with the concerns of the constituents you were elected to represent. But this is an opportunity to demonstrate that you are willing to stand up for the people who live and work in your district. Supporting H.R. 2550 would send a powerful message that you recognize the importance of federal employees, their unions, and their right to collectively bargain. It would also show your constituents that you are willing to put their interests ahead of political loyalty. This is an issue where your actions could make a meaningful difference. Bringing H.R. 2550 to the Senate floor and voting YES would be a significant opportunity to change the trajectory of how your constituents view your representation. I am asking you to do the least you can do for the people you represent: help bring H.R. 2550 to the Senate floor, support its passage, and vote YES. Federal employees deserve representation, respect, and a voice in their workplace. Please stand with them and take action on the Protect America’s Workforce Act.
