Congress must act now to stop these tariffs and reclaim its constitutional authority over trade policy. These are not abstract policy disagreements — tariffs are taxes, and right now American families are paying them directly through higher prices on groceries, appliances, clothing, and everyday goods. This is a burden that hits working people hardest. The power to regulate trade belongs to Congress, not the executive branch.
