I’m concerned about the no-bid contracts, particularly as they relate to the hastily built internment camp in the Everglades and more camps that are being planned. I object to state or federal funding being used for this purpose, but especially if the contracts are being handed out willy-nilly. The “emergency” the governor is using to justify all this isn’t one. The legislature can get rid of this fake emergency and mandate that proper procurement laws be followed and you should.
