I am writing to demand that you vocally oppose the recent staff and program cuts to the Department of Health and Human Services. These cuts endanger everything from infectious disease control and cancer research to essential programs like Head Start and Meals on Wheels. Please demand that Secretary Kennedy attend congressional hearings to explain the reasoning behind these dangerous changes. Thank you. My elderly husband depends on meals on wheels for nutrition and ease of food prep while I am at work.
