Hello. I am contacting you today regarding H.R.722 - To implement equal protection under the 14th article of amendment to the Constitution for the right to life of each born and preborn human person. This is a bill to impose a national abortion ban. I support a woman's right to chose the medical care she needs in consult with her doctors. As we know from Red States with restrictive abortion laws, this endangers women. It prevents them from getting the medical care they need if they experience a pregnancy complication like miscarriage. They are sent back out to the parking lot to wait until their medical condition becomes "life threatening". There are numerous documented cases where women suffered and died because they were unable to access medical care they and their doctors agreed they needed. If this bill makes it out of committee, (and I hope it does not) I will be expecting a "no" vote from you to support freedom and bodily autonomy for pregnant persons.
