An Open Letter

Hello! I have had my number on the do not call list for quite a while. But I have noticed an uptick in robocalls from scammers claiming they are calling about loan applications that I never submitted. On average, despite having my spam call blocker on through my cellular phone company, I am still receiving around FOURTEEN calls DAILY from these robocalled about loans I never applied for. I know I am not the only one, but this is EXCESSIVE. We block the numbers, but they just spoof another number, so blocking does nothing. They just call again and again and again. Day in and day out. 7 days a week. From as early as 7am to as late as 9pm. I have gotten to where I generally don’t answer my phone anymore which means I could be missing important and timely calls. I use the report spam and delete function on my phone voicemail section and yet they STILL keep calling. It’s gross. What is being done about this?
