Please negotiate consolidation of gubernatorial candidates!
To: Gov. Newsom
From: A verified voter in Elk Grove, CA
April 16
As a voting resident of California, I am calling, texting, writing and showing up in front of the lowest-polling Democratic candidates — according to THE BALLOT BOOK – CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR POLLING AGGREGATOR (https://theballotbook.com/polling) — and requesting they step aside, back one of the top-two candidates, and put the governorship of California above their own ambitions. You and the California Democratic Party must ultimately usher in the top two names for the November ballot.
As you know, if this is not done and we end up with two Republicans on the November ballot, on top of our freedoms, we will be handing Trump access to the fourth-largest economy in the world! This cannot happen, and we must stop it.
Please respond with your plan to keep California a blue state and the Governorship safe from Republican rule.
