When will you understand that we can no longer rely on our system of government to save us. A coup d’etat has already taken place. Musk and Trump have ZERO intention of following laws and procedures. They do not plan to acquiesce to court orders or injunctions. They do NOT plan to have elections in two years. Waiting for midterms is the most asinine approach there is. That will be much too late (if it’s not already) and probably isn’t going to happen. You cannot fight this by conventional methods! You earn NOTHING by voting for his nominees and/or allowing the votes to take place. You should be doing everything in your power to resist in any way - Mitch McConnell was in the minority in congress before and still bogged things down and resisted. Why can you not do the same? I currently feel that my elected representatives (including you) are either complete cowards or completely clueless — more probably both! Your constituents do not support what you’ve been doing and yet you continue to act as though we still have our normal system of government. It is gone. These are people who are fine with using force against their own citizens. Even blue states are not remotely safe. Please look to the playbooks that have been successful in resisting dictatorships and Nazis and DO SOMETHING!
