Just read the horrible news about the Haitian honor student in Springfield Illinois who committed suicide because he had to wear an ankle monitor. This administration is treating these people as criminals. They are not criminals. This is not who we are. I am ashamed of my country for doing this. And also the obvious racism of only having black Haitians having ankle monitors. When is Congress going to legislate so that these members of our communities are treated decently and humanely?
