I urge you to vote against all nominees put forth by President Donald Trump. The current nominees, much like many others associated with Trump's administration, often display a reckless disregard for the rule of law, science, and individual liberties. Historically, Trump nominees have been involved in actions and policies that undermine fundamental democratic principles. Many have attempted to rollback environmental protections that have been in place for decades, disregarding scientific consensus on climate change and its dire implications. Nominees have also been known to support measures that restrict voting rights and undermine civil liberties, creating barriers to participation in our democracy. Furthermore, there has been a troubling pattern of nominees with conflicts of interest and a lack of transparency in their professional dealings. For instance, several have faced criticism for failing to divest from private business interests that could potentially influence their decision-making in public office. This behavior raises significant concerns about their ability to serve impartially and effectively uphold the rule of law. It is critical that we appoint individuals who not only respect but also champion science, accountability, individual liberties, and the rule of law. We need leaders who prioritize protecting the rights of women, minorities and the LGBTQIA+ community, ensuring that all citizens are treated with equality and respect. I ask you to consider the long-term implications of supporting such nominees and to instead advocate for candidates who demonstrate integrity, competence, and a commitment to justice for all.
