I’m hearing that you’re among the Democratic senators who are voting to end the government shutdown without anything in return. If this is true, I’m extraordinarily disappointed. The American people want to see the ACA enhanced subsidies continued. Affordability is what led to such a great election result last week. Now I’ll expect my health insurance premiums to increase dramatically, unless I settle for a ridiculously high deductible and/or higher copays. It just sucks on multiple levels. Americans are going to be sicker and poorer.
