Please do your duty as the Senate and veto these absolutely absurd tariffs set in place by Trump. They were put in place for absolutely no reason. They will not help to bolster American manufacturing as we do not have the infrastructure in place and it will likely still not be in place by the time Trump leaves office. Trump ran on a campaign to lower prices for Americans. Since taking office, he has not taken one single action to do so. Life is getting only more expensive, and not to mention more unstable as the domestic and global markets continue to tank. People’s hard-earned and long-saved retirement funds are being wiped out due to the actions of a madman. Their money is not a chess piece for him to play with to boost his ego. Please uphold your sworn duty and take action to fight for and protect your constituents. We are watching closely and will vote accordingly. Thank you.
