The proliferation of age verification laws have made access to the Internet more cumbersome and dangerous. Requiring ID checks and blocking access to adult content has only made it easier for predators to have expanded 'hunting grounds' for minors and their families. Scammers, leakers, phishers, and CSAM creators are easily able to gain access to sensitive data and photos of minors while legal content and adult content creators are punished in their stead. Protecting children should not come at the risk of data theft and exploitation. Oppose and repeal any and all age verification related bills while making bills that regulate data brokers.
