As your constituent, I am writing to urge you to prioritize the establishment of true law and order within our immigration system. The recent lawless killings need to have consequences for the shooters. It's crazy that the ICE agents responsible have faced 0 consequences for killing Americans in the street. People are being picked up based on the color of their skin or because they are using their constitutional right to protest. This is lawless. This can easily mpact someone you know. If you have a staffer or family who happens to be of color, they could be erroneously picked up or even harmed by ICE agents. Sure, it would be cleared up eventually, but people are disappearing and/or dying. This is crazy to even type out. This is America, this shouldn't happen here. Now Federal officials are even disavowing the right to carry in public peaceably. Possession of a gun does not provide an excuse for execution by ICE. Please use the power you have to bring sanity back to our country. It is crazy I have to write a public official to ask to reign in federal employees from killing citizens.
