I am writing to urge you to support the immediate impeachment of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Her tenure has been marked by constitutional violations, human rights abuses, and a complete disregard for due process that threatens the safety and rights of all residents. Under Secretary Noem’s leadership, ICE operations have resulted in the unlawful detention and deportation of verified U.S. citizens without due process. Thousands of detainees have gone missing from custody, families have been separated, and detainees have faced sexual assault and medical negligence. The extrajudicial killing of Renee Good by ICE agents—whom Secretary Noem defended despite clear video evidence—demonstrates a dangerous contempt for accountability and the rule of law. Beyond the human rights crisis, Secretary Noem has shown fundamental incompetence in disaster response and has improperly directed military forces against protesters exercising their First Amendment rights. Her lack of understanding of basic legal principles like habeas corpus disqualifies her from leading an agency charged with protecting our homeland. This is not a partisan issue—it is about defending constitutional rights, fiscal responsibility in preventing costly lawsuits from civil rights violations, and ensuring that government officials are held accountable to the law. Secretary Noem’s actions have made us less safe while wasting taxpayer resources on unconstitutional enforcement actions. I strongly urge you to support articles of impeachment against Secretary Noem and to restore lawful, competent leadership to the Department of Homeland Security.
