I see today the convict President has now successfully extorted $200M from Columbia University so that Columbia can retrieve the grants it rightfully had for research. The bogus “crime” is antisemitism. I feel compelled to explain that there is a huge difference between antisemitism and anti-Israel under its current leadership. To condone the inhumane treatment of an entire territory in order for the IDF to wage a war against Hamas is immoral at its best and criminal at its worst. I would think the vaunted IDF and Mossad could infiltrate and eliminate core leadership and their principals without resorting to what amounts to genocide. I realize I am writing this to the closed minds and meek submission of my representative personnel at the federal level, but I must try to appeal to the morality, empathy, and the humanity of each of you. Where is the line drawn? How have we succumbed to a minority, but vocal population that has lost sight of these traits?
It’s not just the Palestinians this affects. The denial of these dollars to Columbia and other universities and research institutes means more suffering and death for those adversely affected by this extortion.
