Why aren’t you standing up for the American people? Why are you capitulating to an authoritarian instead of leading with courage and conviction? Your job is to serve your constituents — not to bow to political pressure or party loyalty. Every day the government remains shut down, hardworking Americans suffer. Federal workers go unpaid, families lose stability, and trust in our institutions continues to erode. The voters will remember this when election time comes around again. Please show real leadership. Work with Congress to pass a budget, reopen the government, and put the people of this country first.
