Please Vote NO on H.R. 2616 - this bill is an attempt to silence, target, and eliminate any books that include gender expansive expression or theory. This is not about protecting children from ideology but banning books and once this passes it will open the door to fascism banning books for reasons unfathomable and unfounded. Please vote no and protect our freedom of speech and expression. Books that share LGBTQIA+ identities are so important for anyone who has been othered to see themselves and feel less alone. Which is usually a precursor to staying alive. VOTE NO.
