I am writing to ask you to demand that the administration include the Rohingya among those admitted to the U.S. as refugees. In August 2017, the Burmese military committed genocide against the Rohingya people and forced more than 900,000 to flee to Bangladesh. Nearly one million now live in overcrowded camps, and families face food shortages and unsafe living conditions. Funding cuts worsen the crisis. Please urge the administration to grant refugee status to Rohingya people.
