Support Digital Driver's Licenses in Apple Wallet

To: Gov. Pillen

From: A constituent in Papillion, NE

September 2

Nebraska should establish a digital driver's license program compatible with Apple Wallet. Dozens of states have already launched mobile ID programs, and Nebraska residents are being left behind. A digital ID stored securely on a phone is harder to lose, harder to forge, and faster to verify than a plastic card. This isn't a fringe request. Apple Wallet's identity infrastructure meets TSA standards and is already accepted at airports in participating states. Launching a Nebraska mobile ID would reduce fraud, cut DMV costs, and make daily life more convenient for millions of residents. Please make this a priority and move legislation forward in the next session.
