Mr Pretti, a U.S. citizen, was just killed in Minneapolis while complying with ICE officials, who pinned him to the ground, beat him, then executed him. Multiple bystander videos confirm this. Still the White House and ICE say their agents were attacked and acted appropriately. This man wasn’t killed because he was committing a crime, he was killed because he was participating in a protest against the government and happened to have a firearm on him. Not a gangbanger, not a criminal, a U.S. citizen, an ICU nurse and by all accounts a good man and good American. Can’t you see what is happening? Isn’t it obvious? When masked government agents act like death squads with impunity because the government lies to smear the victims, that’s fascism. That’s police state. The president is wittingly or unwittingly destroying democracy in America. You have the power to stop it. Do something! Call for investigations immediately into the shootings of Ms Good and Mr Pretti. Bring the responsible agents and those who supervise and train them to justice. Establish independent oversight over ICE operations so this doesn’t happen again. And begin impeachment proceedings for any federal official who has contributed to this crisis, up to and including the President. Time is running out before even you can’t stop what is happening. Act now or the demise of American democracy will be on your heads as much as on Trump and his SS out there terrorizing Minneapolis.
