Support Robust Funding for Public Schools, Oppose Defunding
To: Rep. Burlison
From: A verified voter in Springfield, MO
February 5
HR94, Expressing support for the Nation's local public K-12 schools and condemning any actions that would defund public education or weaken or dismantle the Department of Education, has my full backing. I strongly support this measure and expect you as my elected representative to vote in favor of it as well. Maintaining robust funding and federal oversight for public schooling is crucial to providing equal educational opportunities and ensuring all children can access quality education regardless of their circumstances. Defunding or weakening public education would undermine this fundamental American value and imperil the future prospects of millions of students. As such, this resolution urges steadfast backing for our public schools and opposes any measures that would deprive them of essential resources or abolish the federal agency overseeing their operation. Safeguarding public education should be a paramount priority.
