For the love of God, Mr. President, what the heck do you think you were doing tonight in your speech from the Oval Office? When the people you're to against are fascists, polarization is a GOOD thing. There is no common ground to be found with fascists, and any attempt to find it moves the needle closer to fascism. Donald Trump is neither your friend nor America's. That's not a statement of opinion, it's a fact. Framing the current political divide as just a polite disagreement between two legitimate parties is false and actively harmful to the cause of saving democracy. Appeasement made things worse with Hitler in the 1930s and it'll do the same with Trump now. We're well beyond politics as usual. Please, wake up and start fighting for democracy like you mean it, before it's too late.
