I am writing to remind you that this is your legacy. While the Trump administration may eventually fade, your name will remain attached to the erosion of constitutional rights and the corruption that enabled it. History will remember who stood for democracy and who sold their principles for power.
The recent actions taken by this administration and Congress undermine the very foundation of our nation:
• Attacks on Free Speech and the Press (First Amendment)
• Targeting Political Opponents (Due Process Violations)
• Expanding Executive Power Over Congress (Tariff Restrictions)
• Unconstitutional Surveillance of Citizens (Fourth Amendment Violations)
Beyond the legal consequences, these decisions contradict Christian values—values many of you claim to uphold. Proverbs 10:9 states:
“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.”
How do these policies reflect Christ’s teachings of justice, mercy, and truth? Jesus did not align himself with the powerful to suppress others; He stood with the marginalized. Your actions stand in direct contrast to His message.
You will not be able to rewrite history. The people see what is happening, and one day, when this corruption is gone, your name will still be attached to it.
Who do you serve—Trump or the American people? I urge you to reconsider before your legacy is permanently sealed in disgrace.
