By now, you've most certainly heard about the mass shooting that just occurred in Minnesota at Annunciation Catholic School. Gun violence there or in any state affects all of us when it happens.
We are devastated for the kids, teachers and staff, for the families affected by this violence. And YOU CAN HELP STOP THE VIOLENCE.
As of August 27, 2025, according to the Gun Violence Archive, since January 1, 2025 there have been 286 mass shootings. This number is down compared to the last yearly account and in the last decade, but there are 126 days left in 2025. Too much more tragedy and terror can happen in that time, if you let it.

Legislation about firearms usually has to do with "zoning regulations for gun stores, the transport and discharge of firearms within municipal boundaries, et cetera" and little to do with "the sale or possession of guns".

Do the responsible, moral, ethical thing now. Consult with the professionals like Sandy Hook Promise and Moms Demand Action to draft and get GUN CONTROL and GUN BAN legislation passed now.
Republicans must stop pandering to the NRA, fellow lawmakers or elected officials, and money-hungry lobbyists who keep guns flowing freely in the United States.
This is no longer about status quo, tit-for-tat, scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. None of that matters. Republicans keep lamenting about birth rates. Who wants to have kids only to see them or their classmates DIE AT SCHOOL, or AT CHURCH, or anywhere else.
Gun violence is preventable. Respectfully, I ask that you and your fellow Congressmembers hurry up.
