Voter asking you to support public broadcasting

To: Sen. Moody, Sen. Scott, Rep. Mills

From: A verified voter in Casselberry, FL

July 11

As a voting constituent, I would like to remind you that you do not answer to Trump, you answer to your constituents. You represent us and our needs. You do not represent the reactive tweets of the president. You are a check and a balance. With that in mind, I implore you to continue supporting the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. As a voting constituent, I benefit from PBS and NPR to get unbiased and free programming. News, updates, developmental programing for children, should be free and open to the public. I have been watching PBS since I was a young child and I continue to watch it to this day. My parents donated to PBS so that viewers like me could feel more involved, but such organizations cannot function off of donations alone and need the support of the federal government. Do not defund Public Broadcasting.
