I refuse to stay silent while our state continues business as usual with a government carrying out genocide in Gaza. Since the ceasefire began on October 10, Israel has killed 241 Palestinians, including 117 children, and injured more than 600. Israel is intentionally starving Gaza by blocking 75% of humanitarian aid, allowing only 145 of the 600 trucks per day it agreed to. People are homeless, hungry, and denied the basic necessities of life. This is genocide, and our state’s investments, contracts, and partnerships are helping sustain it. Here’s what we demand: •Repeal anti-BDS laws that suppress a constitutional form of protest. •Divest every public dollar from Israeli institutions and all corporations complicit in occupation and apartheid. •Ban all state contracts with companies supporting Israel’s military actions or settlement expansion. •Terminate every partnership with Israeli state or defense-linked institutions. •Require public transparency so every resident can see where our money is going. •Name the violence for what it is: genocide, not “conflict.” We will not forget who stood on the right side of history.
