His calls to drastically reduce the FBI's functions and target media "conspirators" pose a direct threat to democratic institutions and press freedoms. I urge you to oppose Mr. Patel’s confirmation and instead advocate for a candidate who upholds the agency’s integrity, independence, and mission to protect the rule of law.
