I’m writing today to urge you to support the Abolish ICE Act, H.R. 7123. This legislation would end ICE’s enforcement authority and dismantle the agency. I believe this is important because current immigration enforcement practices have too often resulted in increased violence, lack of accountability, and harm to communities, families and businesses and reform efforts haven’t worked. They are executing American citizens in the streets. This bill would eliminate those harmful practices and create space for a fairer, more humane system. Please know that I strongly support H.R. 7123 and want my reps to publicly endorse and vote for this bill.
