Support Children Online Safety

To: Rep. Elfreth

From: A verified voter in Ellicott City, MD

December 12

Rep. Elfreath I would like to reach out and inform you that I strongly support the spirit of online protections for children and teens. I understand that there is quite a lot of debate in congress now about KOSA, COPPA 2.0, and others, however, I wanted to express my support for a genuine bipartisan solution to protect the next generation. I would also like to say don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good, this happens a lot in congress and I would hate to see a decent but insufficient bill fail because it theoretically could have been better. Please work with the house Republicans to come up with actual legislation that can pass both chambers and be signed into law. While Republicans seem to be changing around the details to meet their needs it is still worth supporting if it will help protect the children. Even if it's not what democrats would have come up with.
