Demand a full congressional investigation into the Iran memorandum of understanding signed by this administration. The reported terms — $300 billion in reparations to Tehran, unfreezing Iranian assets, and fees for Straits of Hormuz transit — represent a staggering surrender that Congress cannot rubber-stamp in silence.
This deal hands Iran everything it wanted and leaves the US with nothing. We struck Iran with long-range weapons, closed off our own diplomatic options, and when Iran shut the Straits of Hormuz, the administration had no second move. The result is a regime that now controls a critical global chokepoint and faces zero meaningful obstacles to building a nuclear weapon. That is not a negotiated outcome — that is a defeat.
Congress has both the authority and the obligation to scrutinize how this war started, who made these decisions, and what the American people are actually on the hook for. I want public hearings, full disclosure of the memorandum's terms, and accountability for the officials who engineered this catastrophe.
