The Veterans Administration is Not For Sale! Support the reintroduction and passage of the Guard VA Benefits Act. Unaccredited, for-profit "claims-shark" companies are charging veterans illegal and excessive fees to file VA disability claims — turning a public trust into a private marketplace. These predatory practices exploit veterans, drain their earned benefits, and undermine confidence in the VA itself. The Guard VA Benefits Act would restore criminal penalties for individuals charging fees without VA accreditation and ensure that veterans can access qualified, no-cost assistance through accredited Veterans Service Organizations and recognized agents. Stand with veterans! Support the reintroduction of this critical legislation. The VA exists to serve those who served — not to enrich those who prey on them.
